About:

One of the major pilgrimage paths of Hindus is the Do Dham Yatra which is a travel through the Garhwal region in the state of Uttarakhand. The route comprises of three major pilgrimage destinations namely the Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Package Details

Day 1: Delhi in Haridwar (220kms / 5-6 hrs)
Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats, Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps. Pickup from train station/airport and drive to Haridwar, drop to hotel. In evening visit to Ganga Aarti in Har Ki Pauri. stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi/Phata (220kms / 8-9 hrs)
Guptkashi is a fairly large town located in the Kedar-khanda, in Garhwal Himalayas of Rudraprayag district in Utatrakhand, India. It is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to the god Shiva, which is similar to the one in Varanasi. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months. stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Guptkashi/Phata to Kedarnath (19km of trek / 6 hrs)
Kedarnath Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. Located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between the months of April to November. Trek start from Sonprayag to Kedarnath (3584 mts). Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes. stay overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Phata (19km of trek / 6 hrs)
In the morning darshan to Kedarnath ji. After Darshan start trekking back, Check-in the hotel and stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 5: Guptkashi/Phata to Pipalkoti/Joshimath (160kms / 6-7 hrs)
Badrinath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. Badrinath one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 6: Badrinath Darshan and back to Hotel
Early morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath temple for darshan. After darshan you can do sightseeing around there. Back to the hotel and stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 7: Pipalkoti/Joshimath to Haridwar (240kms / 7 hrs)

Day 8: Haridwar to Delhi (220kms / 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast Check-out the hotel. Drive to Delhi and drop to Train Station/Airport.
